Remember that guy in high school who tried to entertain his friends and potential bullies by doing weird voices and sound effects? Comedian Pablo Francisco is way funnier than that guy. The comedian and Tempe, Arizona, native has been using the voices in his head to entertain audiences in sold out shows all around the world and he’s bringing his unique brand of SFX style comedy to the Arlington Improv (309 Curtis Mathes Way, No. 147).
Francisco started gaining fans in the 1990s through his road comic appearances and his hit 1997 album Knee to the Groin, featuring bits that went viral long before YouTube made it super easy for anyone with a camera phone and a halfway amusing idea to become a viral sensation. He followed it with memorable appearances on Comedy Central’s showcases and Mind of Mencia, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
You can see and hear him live at the Arlington Improv at 8 p.m. Thursday; 8 and 10:30 p.m. Friday; 7 and 9:30 p.m. Saturday; and 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $25 at arlington.improv.com.
At Vail Village Club Apartments in Dallas, Texas, it is clear that we have it all, but we still feel obliged to inform you of all the events our community has scheduled. Please feel free to join in all of the fun at this event!
